In celebration of the National Samba Day, celebrated this Friday (12/2), TV Brasil airs a series of special presentations with a repertoire of classics of the genre in the musical track this Saturday (12/3), at 11:15 pm, with attractions that enchanted the audience on the stage of the program Toda as Bossas. Presented by Bia Aparecida, the thematic production highlights the most striking excerpts from concerts with big names in samba that were shown on the channel’s small screen. Most of the shows were recorded in the public broadcaster’s historic Studio 3. The tribute is now available on the TV Brasil Play app. The special combines the participation of the late sambista Monarco with the performance of personalities from the new generations such as Arlindinho, Pedro Miranda, Rafael Caçula and Toninho Geraes. The attraction highlights renowned artists such as Xande de Pilares, Nilze Carvalho and Didu Nogueira. It also celebrates samba stars who made history in the genre, such as Moacyr Luz, Noca da Portela, Nei Lopes and Paulinho Mocidade. The selection of hits includes works that span generations, such as “Vai Vadiar”, sung by Monarco, and “Goiabada Cascão”, sung by veteran Nei Lopes. The bambas showed all their talent at Espaço Cultural BNDES, in Rio de Janeiro, in recordings recorded exclusively by TV Brasil.
