The Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba do Rio de Janeiro (Liesa) started selling tickets today (5) for the parades of the Rio de Janeiro special group associations in February 2023. Sales are being made through the website of the company Total Acesso. For the first time, there will be no physical tickets for the stands and chairs. Whoever buys the ticket will have to download the Rio Carnaval app to access, as of January, the digital ticket that will allow entry to the Sambódromo. Special group schools parade in two days. The first night of parades begins at 9:30 pm on February 19 (Sunday), with Império Serrano, and ends at dawn on the 20th (Monday), with Mangueira. Grande Rio, Mocidade, Unidos da Tijuca and Salgueiro also perform on that day. The second night (Monday the 20th) starts with Paraíso do Tuiuti (at 9.30 pm), followed by Portela, Vila Isabel, Imperatriz, Beija-Flor and Viradouro. To watch the parades on these two days, ticket prices vary from R$ 230, in the numbered chair Sector 12 (dispersion), to R$ 300, in the special bleachers of sectors 6 to 8 (middle of the Sambódromo). Students, seniors, teachers and people with disabilities pay half price. The top six in Carnival 2023 will return to the Sambadrome on February 25 (Saturday). For that day, prices vary from R$ 160 to R$ 180. It is also possible to buy half price.
