It is a guide with updated legislation, which provides tips on means of transport, accommodation, bars, restaurants, services, in addition to the Consumer Protection Code (CDC). The guide contains, for example, instructions on how to pay for public and private transport, guidance in cases of flight or bus cancellations or delays, and warnings about the need to observe the amount typed into the card machine when making a payment. payment. The manual is available in three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish) and can be accessed at this link. It will also be distributed in printed form at the main entrances for tourists in the state. We created an objective guide, but which addresses the main topics that may raise doubts and avoid hassles, with the intention of protecting, guiding and welcoming our consumer visitors, who contribute so much to the state’s economy”, said Coelho. “It is important that the supplier understands that well-served consumers, with respect for their consumerist rights, with quick solutions in the event of unforeseen events, have a greater chance of returning to our state and can even recommend Rio as a good travel destination”. ProconTur In addition to the guide, the autarchy has a working group aimed at serving domestic and foreign tourist consumers and large events, ProconTur, created at the beginning of the current management of Procon-RJ.
