On the day that the 469th anniversary of the city of São Paulo is celebrated, the capital is hosting, today (25), the 2nd edition of the Cidade do Futuro Festival, aimed at spreading the culture of innovation, with the presentation of new means of technology, and to enhance the historic triangle, formed by Largo São Bento, Pátio do Colégio and Largo São Francisco. The festival will have a forum for discussion, study and knowledge in the areas of entrepreneurship, democracy, education, environment and agrotech. Participation is open to all and admission is free. The audience is expected to reach 10,000 people, including companies, startups (emerging companies), families and artists. In all, there will be more than 40 panels totaling 400 speakers. The festival will offer more than two hundred hours of content with concerts, gastronomic fairs, street parties, workshops (intensive courses) and artistic workshops, film exhibitions and arts tech festivals. Companies that encompass technological experiences and the metaverse will participate in exclusive conferences. Three music stages and more than 40 simultaneous arenas will be set up, with spaces equipped to present different cultural and professional subjects through technology. “We are going to think about and debate the future of São Paulo and the city we want to live in. We are going to rethink all areas that impact our lives as citizens, whether in professional, cultural, environment, climate, education, health, impact businesses, entrepreneurship peripheral, future of music and cinema. And we are going to think about how to make a more inclusive and humane city using technology to live better”, said the coordinator of Open Innovation of the Municipal Secretary of Innovation and Technology, Anayara de Azevedo, one of the organizers of the event. The promotion aims to be inclusive and each arena will be set up in a historic building in the center of the capital so that people can get to know the places and the city.
