The National Civil Construction Cost Index – Market (INCC-M) rose 0.32% in January. The percentage is slightly above that registered in the previous month, when it was 0.27%. In the 12 months, the indicator accumulates an increase of 9.05%. In January 2022, the index registered 0.64% in the month and had accumulated an increase of 13.70% in 12 months. The numbers were disclosed today (26) by the Brazilian Institute of Economics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Ibre /FGV). The indicator is searched between the 21st of the previous month and the 20th of the reference month. Materials, equipment and services The rate for materials, equipment and services dropped from 0.38% in December to a drop of 0.12% in the first month of the year. In this group, after the increase of 0.37% registered in December, the rate corresponding to materials and equipment decreased by 0.26% in January. “Three of the four component subgroups showed a decrease in their variation rates, with emphasis on materials for structure, whose rate changed from 0.62% to -0.55%”, he informed. Services The change related to services increased from 0.43% in December to 0.53% in January. In this group, the highlight is the evolution of the service and licensing fees item, which changed from 0% to 2.40%. Labor Another advance occurred in the rate related to the labor index. After registering 0.16% in December, it rose 0.77% in January. Capitals Among the state capitals, two registered high rates of change: Salvador and Belo Horizonte. In contrast, there was a retreat in Brasília, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and São Paulo.
