The body of a child was located this morning (6th) inside the trawler that sank yesterday (5th) in Guanabara Bay. The total number of people killed in the accident has already reached six people. In addition to the child, the bodies of five adults have already been found, of which two were also found today. Five victims were found inside the vessel, which sank between Ilha do Governador and Ilha de Paquetá, while the sixth was located near the central span of the Rio-Niterói Bridge. Six people were rescued alive and sent to a health unit on Ilha do Governador. All have already been discharged, according to the Municipal Secretary of Health. The search continues for two more victims who are missing. The Navy said it will investigate the causes and responsibilities for the accident.
