The government of the state of São Paulo reported that, so far, 44 deaths were confirmed due to heavy rains, 43 in São Sebastião and one in Ubatuba. Teams from the municipality with psychologists and social workers work to welcome the families of the victims of the storm that hit the north coast on Saturday (18) and Sunday (19). Seven bodies have already been identified and released for burial. There are two adult men, two adult women and three children. Search, rescue and salvage work continues uninterruptedly in the region. There are currently 1,730 displaced people and 766 homeless across the state. Dial 100 The Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC) made Dial 100, option 2, available to receive communications from people affected by heavy rains on the south coast of the state of São Paulo, in the municipalities of São Sebastião, Ubatuba, Guarujá, Bertioga and Ilhabela. The call center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist in receiving information about missing persons and places of shelter, receiving requests for help from isolated persons in support of call centers 190, 193 and 192.
