Elderly people over 60 years of age will be able to receive the bivalent Pfizer vaccine against covid-19 starting next Monday (6). Vaccination with the bivalent Pfizer in São Paulo began last Monday (27) and remains available to all seniors over 70 years of age. If there are remaining doses of the bivalent Pfizer vaccine close to the end of daily activities in the units, pregnant and puerperal women will be able to take the immunizer, provided they live in the UBS region. For prior registration, it is necessary to present proof of address. People over 12 years of age with immunosuppression, indigenous people, residents of long-stay institutions and employees of these equipment in the city of São Paulo can also receive the dose. People in the priority groups who have completed the basic scheme or who have already received one or two booster doses are being vaccinated, respecting the four-month interval of the most recent dose received. Vaccination against vovid-19 takes place at the Basic Health Units (UBSs) and at the Ambulatory Medical Assistance (AMAs)/Integrated UBSs, from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm, and on Saturdays, at the AMAs/Integrated UBSs, also from 7 am to 7 pm. Until this Wednesday (1st), the SMS applied 129,961 doses of the bivalent Pfizer immunizer, 123,932 of which in elderly people over 70 years of age and 6,029 doses in the other currently eligible groups.
