The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) denounced today (8) to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) 24 accused of inciting the anti-democratic acts of January 8. Another investigated was denounced last Friday (3) for invading the Planalto Palace on the day of the attacks. Those denounced by the prosecution are accused of the crimes of inciting animosity by the Armed Forces against constitutional powers and of criminal association. With the new complaint, the number of investigated people reached 937. According to the PGR, the strategic group created to analyze the processes involving the attacks continues to work on collecting evidence to denounce those involved who are arrested or who have gained provisional release. On another front, the Advocacia-Geral da União (AGU) charges BRL 100 million in collective moral damages, in addition to BRL 20 million in material damages for the losses, from 54 individuals, three companies, an association and a union accused of finance the acts.
