Inep explained that the change in the schedule aims to contemplate adjustments in the definitive expected standard of procedures (PEP), which will be made available on the same date. The new date was published in the Official Gazette (DOU). With the change, the period for nominating the public university that will revalidate the diploma, previously scheduled to start this Friday (17), is now starting March 27. Inep applied the second stage of the exam on the 3rd and 4th of December last year. Clinical skills The clinical skill test was structured in a set of ten stations, in which participants performed specific tasks in the determined areas, which could include investigation of clinical history, interpretation of exams, formulation of diagnostic hypotheses, demonstration of medical procedures, counseling to patients or family members, among other contexts. Revalidation The exam consists of two stages (theoretical and practical), which address, in an interdisciplinary way, the five major areas of medicine: internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics and family and community medicine (collective health). The aim is to assess the skills, competences and knowledge necessary for professional practice in line with the principles and needs of the Unified Health System (SUS). The references are the consultations in the context of primary, outpatient, hospital, urgent, emergency and community care, based on the National Curriculum Guideline for the Course of Medicine, associated regulations and professional legislation. Participation in the second stage depends on approval in the first, consisting of an objective and discursive test. With information from Inep*
