Around 130,000 people are expected to board at the three bus terminals in São Paulo on their way out for the Easter holiday, between Thursday (6th) and Friday (7th), according to estimates by Socicam, the concessionaire responsible for managing the Tietê terminals, Barra Funda and Jabaquara. The most popular destinations are Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, the south of Minas Gerais, the coast and the interior of São Paulo. An extra 655 buses will be made available to meet passenger demand over these two days. Throughout the extended holiday, until Monday (10), the forecast is for over 496,000 passengers leaving and arriving in the city through the bus terminals. The concessionaire recommends that, if it is not possible to buy the ticket online, the passenger should contact the bus company to check the availability of tickets and options for dates and times before going to the bus terminal. In addition, if you have any symptoms related to covid-19, the recommendation is to reschedule the trip. The road passenger has a period of up to one year to reschedule the date of passage. Highways More than 2.6 million vehicles are expected to travel to the coast and interior along the roads in São Paulo under the management of the São Paulo State Transport Agency (Artesp) and the Roads Department (DER), this Easter holiday, from April 7th to 9th. On the main highways leaving São Paulo operated by concessionaires, the forecast is to receive more than 1.9 million vehicles. On the highways managed by the DER, traffic of more than 775,000 vehicles is expected. The forecast is for an increase in the flow of vehicles from 3 pm on Thursday (6) towards the coast and inland. On the way back, on Sunday (9) the forecast is for heavy traffic throughout the day. In the Anchieta-Imigrantes System (SAI) up to 310,000 vehicles are expected to head to the south coast via the Anchieta (SP-150) and Imigrantes (SP-160) highways. The times of greatest flow should occur from Thursday (6), from 12 pm to 2 am on Friday (7), and then from 7 am to 2 pm, towards the coast. On return, the movement should increase on Sunday (9) from 9 am and continue throughout the day. On Rodovia dos Tamoios (SP-098), around 124,000 vehicles are expected to travel on the road between Thursday (6) and Monday (10) of April. For the Ayrton Senna-Carvalho Pinto Corridor (SP 070), it is estimated that up to 480,000 vehicles will pass through the four toll plazas inland. The increase in flow should occur from 6 am on Thursday (6) until around 4 pm on Friday (7), towards the interior. On the way back, the flow of vehicles should increase on Saturday (8), from 3 pm to 9 pm and on Sunday (9), from 9 am until the end of the night. In the Anhanguera-Bandeirantes System, the concessionaire CCR AutoBAn foresees a flow of 476 thousand vehicles, between departure and arrival in the capital, in the period between Friday (7) and Sunday (9). The busiest times are on Fridays, from 9 am to 1 pm, inland, and in the capital direction, from 12 pm to 8 pm on Sundays. In the Castello Branco-Raposo System, the concessionaire CCR ViaOeste estimates a flow of 536 thousand vehicles during Operation Easter, from Thursday (6) to Sunday (9). On Thursday, the forecast is that the movement is greater from 16 to 20 hours. On Friday, the flow should be intense from 7 am to 12 pm. On the way back, there should be a greater concentration of vehicles towards the capital on Sunday, from 11 am to 8 pm. The western section of the Rodoanel should receive more than 1 million vehicles from Thursday to Sunday. The most intense flow schedules are scheduled for Thursday, from 3 pm to 8 pm. 276,000 vehicles are expected to circulate along the south section of the Rodoanel Mário Covas and 118,000 on the east section, with greater flow on Fridays, from 9 am to 1 pm; Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 10 pm. Among the highways managed by the DER are Rodovia Manoel Hyppolito Rego (SP-055), with an expected handling of 129,301 vehicles; Padre Manoel da Nóbrega Highway (SP-055), 212,458 vehicles; D. Paulo R. Loureiro Highway (SP-098)-Mogi-Bertioga, 61,214 vehicles; Oswaldo Cruz Highway (SP-125), 41,909 vehicles; and Raposo Tavares Highway (SP-270), 330,832 vehicles.
