Central Bank (BC) instant transfer system, Pix broke a new record last Thursday (6). For the first time, the modality surpassed the mark of 120 million transactions in 24 hours. On the last day 6 alone, 122.4 million transfers were made via Pix to end users. The high demand did not compromise the functioning of the functionality. According to the BC, the systems operated with stability throughout the day. The previous record had been registered on December 20, with 104.1 million transactions in a single day.
