The Brazilian under-20 men’s soccer team met this Friday (21) its opponents in the group stage of the World Cup in the category. In a draw held by Fifa in Zurich (Switzerland) it was decided that Brazil will face Italy, Nigeria and the Dominican Republic in the first stage of the competition (which will be played between May 20 and June 11 in Argentina). The debut of the national team in the competition will be against Squadra Azzurra, on a date yet to be defined by the International Football Federation (FIFA). Brazil has already won the under-20 World Cup on five occasions: 1983, 1985, 1993, 2003 and 2011. 🏆 The stage is set. May 8th is the date set for the team to show up at Granja Comary to start their preparation. Brazil arrives at the competition in a positive moment, after undefeated winning the title of the South American sub-20 that was disputed in Colombia.
