This Friday (28) is the deadline for requesting exemption from the registration fee for the 2023 National Secondary Education Examination (Enem). in Enem 2022, but did not attend the tests. Both the fee waiver request and the justification for absence must be submitted on the Participant’s Page, with a single login on the Gov.br platform. Exemption is guaranteed to 3rd grade high school students in 2023, in a public school declared to the School Census; who attended all of high school in a public school or with a full scholarship in a private school; and people in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability because they are members of a low-income family – registered in the Single Registry for social programs of the federal government (CadÚnico). “If you do not provide justification or it is refused, the student will have to pay the registration fee. The result of the analysis of the justifications will come out on May 8”, informs the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep). In order to guarantee the accessibility of the service, in this edition, the institute made available two versions of the notice for exemption from the registration fee and justification, aimed at participants with disabilities. One of them, in the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras); and another with adaptations for people with visual impairments. The Enem 2023 tests are scheduled for November 5th and 12th.
