The breakage of a culvert on the BA-283, between Itabela and Guaratinga, left the section on half track. Another broken culvert, on BA-001, between Belmonte and Santa Cruz Cabrália, caused the formation of a crater and vehicle traffic started to be carried out only on half of the lane. Resources The Ministry of Integration and Regional Development, through the National Civil Defense, released the transfer of R$ 3.9 million to assist the affected population in the municipalities of Santa Cruz Cabrália and Ilhéus. The resources will be transferred to the municipalities shortly. According to the folder, Santa Cruz de Cabrália will receive R$ 2.32 million and Ilhéus, R$ 1.59 million. “The amount for each municipality takes into account the values requested by the municipalities in the work plans sent to the MIDR”, informs the ministry.
