The mixed commission that analyzes the Provisional Measure of the Bolsa Família approved this Wednesday (10) the opinion of the proposal. The text, which is already in force, still needs to be analyzed by the plenary sessions of the Chamber and the Senate. Among the suggestions incorporated by the rapporteur, deputy Dr. Francisco (PT-PI), is the inclusion of women who are breastfeeding among the beneficiaries of bonus of R$ 50. The proposal, forwarded by the federal government, provided for the additional amount for dependents aged 7 to 18 years and pregnant women. The report includes the allowance for payroll loans with resources from the Benefit of Continued Provision (BPC), paid to elderly and disabled people. With this, the text allows the BPC to be used in the payroll loan at a margin of 35%, with 30% intended exclusively for loans and financing, and 5% for the payment of credit card expenses. By means of an agreement, the rapporteur also inserted in the opinion the possibility of deducting percentages of the BPC from the calculation to receive the Bolsa Família (per capita income below R$ 218). According to the rapporteur, the measure results in an addition of R$ 19 billion to the budget of R$ 175 billion allocated to the program. Another device included granting the benefit to families that receive closed-end insurance, as long as they do not accumulate the aid. The approved text also foresees that the readjustments in the value of the program benefit should be carried out, at most, every two years. *With information from the Chamber Agency
