The Federal Police launched this Friday (12) Operation Untrue to investigate crimes committed over the internet, in particular the misuse of corporate symbols, the falsification of course completion certificates issued by the National Police Academy (ANP) and the attribution of false identity as a federal police officer. Two search and seizure warrants issued by the Federal Court of Joinville (SC) are being fulfilled. According to the corporation, during the investigations, it was found that the accesses to the ANP platform and to the social network profiles in which the crimes were committed came from IPs located at addresses in Curitiba and Itapoá (SC). The operation was launched by the newly created Division of Investigation and Special Operations (DIOE). “The fight against cyber crimes is a priority for the Federal Police, in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and which gains due relevance and structure with the creation of DIOE”.
