The Brazilian Rayssa Leal won, early this Saturday (13), the second X-Games street skate championship (one of the biggest extreme sports events in the world). The dispute was held in Chiba (Japan). The Japanese Momiji Nishiya (second place) and Rizu Akama (third) completed the podium. The first achievement of the 15-year-old from Maranhão in the competition was achieved in 2022, also in the Japanese locality. Thus, the results obtained in the qualifiers defined the winners. Rayssa got the 88.33 points previously won. The Olympic champion in Tokyo, Momiji Nishiya, with 86.66 points, while Rizu Akama completed the podium with 83.66. In the previous season, Rayssa had already won all stages of the World Skate Street League and, right at the opening of the current season, she was also the best in Chicago (United States), in a tournament held at the end of April. The young woman is the leader of the world ranking of the event that qualifies for the Paris Olympic Games, which will be held in 2024.
