From today (22nd) to next Friday (26th), the Labor Court holds the seventh edition of Conciliation Week, in which it promotes a concentrated effort to sign agreements between employers and employees. The event takes place annually and mobilizes all 24 Regional Labor Courts (TRT) in the country. Anyone with pending cases can request participation in the week, in which around 40% more conciliations are mediated than in a normal week. Last year, there were 21,167 agreements and R$764,692,451.39 moved, according to data from the National Council of Justice (CNJ). In all, in 2022, 219,566 people were served and 65,035 hearings were held. To participate, any company or employee can request the inclusion of their process in the agenda of the week. The request must be made at the Labor Court or at the local Judiciary Center for Consensual Methods of Dispute Resolution (Cejusc). This year, a conciliometer was created, in which it is possible to monitor in real time national data on the amount transacted, total agreements, number of people served and the total number of hearings held.
