Retirees, pensioners and beneficiaries of some assistance from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) can now access the beneficiary’s virtual wallet and the Meu INSS+ card, which gives access to data without the need to print the receipt. The new modality of virtual access was launched this Monday (22) and also grants beneficiaries discounts at pharmacies, cinemas, concerts, services, telemedicine, insurance, travel, among others. To do this, simply access the Meu INSS application or website and click on the “beneficiary wallet” icon, informed the government. Totally virtual, the card, developed by Dataprev, is available in the Meu INSS application – Joédson Alves/Agência Brasil Federal, which will make services available to users, account holders or not. The Ordinance establishing the beneficiary’s portfolio and Meu INSS+ was signed by the Minister of Social Security Carlos Lupi during the launch ceremony held at the INSS auditorium, in Brasília. According to Lupi, at least 19 million people will have access to the discounts offered. In addition, the minister pointed out that private banks have already shown interest in participating in the partnership. “Some benefits in the area of pharmacy have a discount of up to 70%”, he pointed out.
