The first installment of the 13th salary of beneficiaries of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) begins to be deposited this Thursday (25th) and will be credited together with the regular payment of the monthly benefit. Annually, this allowance is paid between August and November. However, the advance payment was signed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on May 4. The first to receive credits are beneficiaries who earn up to one minimum wage and have a Social Identification Number (NIS) ending in 1. As of June 1st, those who earn more than the national minimum wage and have NIS card with registration end 1 and 6. All payments will be made until June 7th. Since May 1st, the social security floor is R$ 1,320.00. And the ceiling for benefits paid by the INSS continues to be R$7,507.49. Investment In all, the federal investment will be R$ 62.6 billion and will benefit more than 38 million Social Security insured persons. According to the INSS, the 13th INSS salary is deposited to retirees and death pensioners, in addition to those who have received, this year, aid for temporary disability, accident aid or imprisonment aid. By law, insured persons who receive assistance benefits are not entitled to the 13th INSS salary. The first installment of the 13th salary is tax-free.
