This Saturday (27), the Federal District Health Department will provide 100,000 doses of vaccines at more than 60 immunization points – including malls, fairs, subway stations, regional administrations and basic health units (UBS). Around 1,500 public servants participate in the so-called D-Day of Vaccination and the proposal is to serve all age groups – from babies to the elderly. At all points, the influenza vaccine will be offered, indicated for people aged at least six months. There will also be an application of immunizers against covid-19 for babies from six months old, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly, with availability of the bivalent for all people over 18 who have already taken at least the first two doses. Diseases There will also be all the vaccinations foreseen in the routine calendar, including immunizations against diseases such as HPV, meningitis, polio, yellow fever, tetanus and hepatitis. The full list, including available doses, addresses and opening hours of participating locations, can be found here. In a note, the Secretary of Health points out that those with delayed vaccines may receive more than one application on the same day. For D-Day, a logistical operation was set up to ensure supplies for both the UBS and the so-called mobile teams. In all, ten vehicles will serve locations where inventory is lower throughout this Saturday.
