Assemblies of bus drivers and collectors delayed the departure of nine concessionaires from the transport system in the capital of São Paulo, this morning (29). According to SPTrans, there was an essential service stoppage and circulation has already been normalized. The workers approved last Friday (26), in an assembly, a fight plan for this week. For this Monday morning, assemblies were planned in the garages, from 3 pm to 5 pm, to inform workers about the actions. According to the Union of Drivers and Workers in Urban Road Transport of São Paulo (Sindmotoristas), the decision was taken unanimously due to the absence of a new employer proposal containing the valuation of the clauses. In a note, SPTrans states that, at the beginning of the operation, it requested support from the police in the garages and will register a police report so that those involved in the interruption of an essential service to the population are held accountable, in addition to automatically applying the assessments for trips not made to dealerships.
