Registration for the National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) 2023 ends this Friday (2). The deadline also applies to requests for specialized care and treatment by social name. Interested parties must register through the Encceja System. Participation is voluntary and free of charge for those who did not miss the last edition. Young people and adults who have not completed their studies at the appropriate age for each stage of education can enroll – provided they are at least 15 years old for elementary school and 18 years old for high school on the date of the exam. The participant who missed the test for which he signed up in the 2022 edition and did not justify his absence or had the request for justification rejected must reimburse the National Institute of Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) in the amount of R$ 40 if he wants to participate this year. Payment must be made through a bank slip, generated in the registration system. When registering, the participant must indicate the federation unit and the municipality where he wants to take the tests, in addition to the level of education for which he wants the certification (elementary or medium) and the areas of knowledge in which he wants to be evaluated. The tests, both for elementary and high school, will be applied on August 27th. New features This year, the exam has new features, such as the inclusion of an expanded response card option in the registration system for those with visual impairments and differentiated correction of essays for people with autism spectrum disorder. Transvestite, transsexual or transgender participants with social name registered with the Federal Revenue will not need to send supporting documentation.
