As the 1-1 tie lasted until the end of the 90 minutes, the match had to go into overtime, in which Matheus Nascimento put Brazil ahead again with less than a minute of the ball rolling. However, two minutes later Shibli equalized the score again. From there, Israel improved a lot and took control of the game, scoring the classification goal in the 17th minute and having two more opportunities to extend in two penalty kicks in the second stage of extra time. But the European team did not show efficiency in the opportunities. With that, Israel ended the match 3-2 and now faces the winner of the match between the United States and Uruguay, who play next Sunday (4), in the World Cup semifinal.
