A fire in a truck loaded with fuel, which overturned at kilometer 96 of the BR-040, in Duque de Caxias, on the road towards Petrópolis, in the mountainous region, interrupts traffic on the highway. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the driver of the truck died at the scene. The accident vehicle is a bi-train tank type, which is formed by two semi-trailers, connected by a hitch. In addition to the truck, four cars were hit by the fire and were destroyed. According to the PRF, the driver of one of these vehicles burned his arm superficially and did not need hospital care.
