Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), ordered former president Jair Bolsonaro to testify to the Federal Police (PF). Former deputy Daniel Silveira should also be heard. The date will be set by the corporation. The hearing will be held within the scope of the unfolding of the investigation that investigates the meeting between Bolsonaro and Senator Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES) about alleged negotiations of a coup d’état. Yesterday (16), the senator was the subject of search and seizure warrants within the scope of the investigation. By order of Moraes, agents of the Federal Police (PF) visited the congressman’s office in the Senate and at his addresses in Vitória. In February, Moraes ordered the opening of an investigation to investigate the senator’s statements that he had received a proposal to participate in a coup. The investigation was opened after the senator declared that the meeting with Bolsonaro and Silveira was aimed at inducing Minister Moraes to “recognise” that he went beyond the four lines of the Constitution with the former president of the Republic. After carrying out the searches, Marcos do Val declared that the measures were taken after having asked for Moraes to be summoned to testify at the CPI on the Coup Acts in Congress.
