Praça das Artes and Vale do Anhangabaú, in downtown São Paulo, will host this weekend – the 17th and 18th – the second edition of Virada ODS, considered the biggest event in the world. The goal is to popularize, promote and highlight the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). To participate, registration must be made on the website. The program organized by the city of São Paulo includes lectures by national and international personalities and specialists, an exhibitor fair, cultural and educational activities, a hackathon and a music festival. With a prize of BRL 30,000, Hackathon Virada ODS proposes the creation of solutions for the UN’s 2030 Agenda. The hacker marathon revolves around seven priority axes: Climate Change; Combating racism; Mental health; ESG; Accessibility and inclusion; Democracy and inequalities; and homeless population and immigrant and refugee population.
