Previously, the period allowed was three years. The Revalida dismissal rule may be applied to the rehiring of physicians who participated in the program until December 2022, regardless of the period of activity. Those who participated in Mais Médicos for more than four years can only be rehired with revalidation of the diploma. About Revalida, an exam required for doctors trained abroad to have professional registration in Brazil, it will be a test applied every four months, and no longer every six months.
