Tuna Luso, from Pará, receives Humaitá, from Acre, starting at 3 pm (Brasília time) this Saturday (1st) at the Francisco Vasques stadium, in Belém, for the 11th round of Group 1 of the Brazilian Series D Championship. The match marks the beginning of broadcasts of the 2023 edition of the national competition on TV Brasil. Current vice-leader of the bracket classification with 19 points, one less than the National leader, Águia Guerreira practically guarantees classification for the second phase of the competition in case of victory at home. In order to leave with these three very important points, coach Júlio César Nunes stated, after training last Friday (30), that the support of the Tuna fans is essential: “We have completed a good week of work and the players are very focused. for the match. We understand the difficulties we will face against Humaitá, a team that is also fighting for the classification. So we need to stay alert and we need the support of our fans.” If Águia Guerreira is experiencing a moment of confidence, Humaitá is in the midst of questioning, especially after the 1-0 defeat by São Francisco at home. This setback left the Acre team in fourth place in the ranking with 14 points. This negative result led to a change in the team’s technical command. Until then, coach Maurício Carneiro took over the physical preparation, while goalkeeper Dorielson Mendes also started to accumulate the role of coach. The change, according to the team’s management, was motivated by the team’s weak campaign in the national competition. To arm his team to face Tuna Luso, Dorielson Mendes has some problems. The attacking midfielder Pisika is out due to the accumulation of yellow cards. In addition, midfielders Igor Dias and Felipinho are still out to recover from physical problems. The positive note is that right-back Jojo is available after serving suspension. 2023 D Series The 2023 D Series started on May 6th.
