Despite still seeking their first world title, the English arrive at the World Cup with high morale after winning a women’s Euro Cup for the first time (in 2022 in the final against the powerful Germany). In the same bracket, but starting at 9 am (Brasília time), Denmark will face China at the Perth Rectangular stadium, also in Australia. However, this Saturday’s matches for the Women’s World Cup begin at dawn, with the match between Zambia and Japan, starting at 4 am (Brasília time) at the Waikato stadium, in New Zealand, for Group C of the competition.
