After two years of pause, due to the covid-19 pandemic, SPTrans is again organizing trips from three points in the city towards Ibirapuera Park, where a Christmas tree will be installed, among other available attractions. The activity is carried out in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism, which has provided monitors to guide tours inside the buses, and will provide the infrastructure for the event. The traditional illuminated buses decorated with Christmas themes began circulating through the city streets at the end of November. The free tours, bound for the Ibirapuera Christmas tree, began on the last day of the 11th. Next Saturday (17th) it will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm. Paulista tree The tree on Avenida Paulista can be seen until December 26th and is located at Praça do Ciclista, at Avenida Paulista, 2452, on the corner of Consolação. For the third consecutive year, Associação Paulista Viva will present the city of São Paulo with a Christmas tree 10 meters high on the avenue. The project seeks to rescue the Christmas tradition with family and friends and will be the first with a space for public interaction for “instagrammable” photos (to be published on the social network Instagram). Coca Cola Tree The tree is available until December 21 at Parque Villa-Lobos, located at Avenida Professor Fonseca Rodrigues, 2001 – Alto de Pinheiros. The structure is 52 meters high and 22.2 meters in diameter, has a bright star on top and decorations that refer to Christmas roots. New this year is the fully instagrammable Santa Claus House, installed at the root of the Christmas tree. With wooden furniture and typical decorations in red, the space has a gift room, a kitchen with Christmas dinner and the traditional good old man armchair. Open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, from 3 pm to 9 pm. Candy and the Bear Family Shopping Light promotes a Christmas focused on diversity. This year’s decor will be themed around Candy and the Bear Family, with items to touch children’s hearts. The idea is to have a big party of diversity and inclusion, with characters from the Bear Family (white, black and brown), so that everyone can identify with the characters.
