The CBF defined the calendar of women’s football competitions for 2023, with breaks for the World Cup period – between July 20 and August 20 – and also on FIFA dates. The first tournament of the year will be the Supercup, from February 5th to 12th. The Brasileiro A1 (first division of the national championship) will start on February 26 and end on September 17. The purpose of the change, according to the entity, is to make the tournament more competitive.
