The indicators of covid-19 in the state of Rio de Janeiro, released this Saturday (24), follow a downward trend. The analysis by the State Department of Health (SES) considers data recorded in epidemiological weeks 49 (December 4th to 10th) and 50 (December 11th to 17th). In the analyzed period, the number of cases per onset of symptoms, registered per week, increased from 7,253 to 4,036, which represents a reduction of 44.35%. For the state secretary of Health, Alexandre Chieppe, “for the third consecutive week, the indicators of covid-19 show a reduction. In the week of December 4th to 10th, 1,542 cases were reported, of which 1,446 were adults. In the week of December 11th to 17th, there were 1,262 attendances, 1,145 of which were adults.
