This weekend Rio de Janeiro will have 11 blocks spread across the city. The expectation is that this year the municipality will receive 5 million people, a larger audience than in 2020. On the 24th, Riotur launched an application in Portuguese, English and Spanish with georeferencing and filters to search by neighborhood, date and time to make life easier for carioca revelers and tourists. The new tool is available in the Apple and Android stores. Operational Scheme Riotur also disclosed the infrastructure set up for the street carnival, which will be: 34 thousand chemical toilets, 8 medical stations, 220 ambulances, 5 thousand street cleaners available for Carnival, 2 thousand employees of the Municipal Public Order Secretariat (Seop), between municipal guard and urban control, and 3 thousand traffic operators.
