PF takes action against dissemination of images of sexual abuse of children

The Federal Police (PF) served today (9) two search and seizure warrants against suspects of storing and sharing images of child sexual abuse in Rio de Janeiro. The Custodire operation warrants were carried out in the city of Macaé, in the north of the state. The warrants were issued by the 2nd Federal Criminal Court of Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ). According to the PF, one of the targets of today’s action was arrested red-handed for storing files containing scenes of sexual violence against children. Today’s action was triggered after investigations found that an internet provider customer had downloaded and shared hundreds of files with child pornographic content. In the searches, the police seized computers, cell phones and media. The material will be examined.
