Police capture torture of children in downtown São Paulo

Three men were arrested red-handed, and a teenager apprehended, for the crime of torturing three children in a cellar, on Monday night (13), in the center of the capital of São Paulo. The adults were 20, 23 and 24 years old, and the teenager, 16. According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), civil police officers heard cries for help from children who were tied up inside a commercial establishment, in the region of the Republic. The victims were released and the suspects taken to the 2nd Police Department, where the arrest was formalized. According to the SSP, bail was arbitrated to the owner of the establishment, which was not paid. The three adults remain at the disposal of Justice, and the teenager was sent to Fundação Casa. The report tried to contact the commercial establishment, but was not answered.
