It is always a great happiness to stand on a podium representing Brazil”, declared Duda. Despite the setback in the decision of the Tepic stage, Duda and Ana Patrícia remain at the top of the competition’s world ranking, in which another team from Brazil, formed by Carol and Bárbara, appears in third position. The Dutch Raisa Schoon and Katja Stam occupy the vice-leadership of the classification. Now, the stage of the Beach Volleyball World Circuit arrives in Brazil, where the next three stages will be played, all in April: the Challenge of Itapema (SC), between the 6th and 9th, the Challenge of Saquarema (RJ), between 13 and 16, and the Elite 16 in Uberlândia (MG), between 26 and 30. The 2023 World Tour is of great importance for beach volleyball athletes, as winning the competition is one of the ways to qualify for the next edition of the Olympic Games, which will be held in 2024 in Paris (France).
