Petrobras announced this Monday (3) that the review of unsigned divestment processes will be carried out within the scope of adjustments to the company’s Strategic Planning. On March 17, the company’s management informed that it had not found, until that moment, grounds that would justify the suspension of projects with contracts already signed. The state-owned company, through its executive board, said it had carried out a preliminary study on ongoing divestment processes, initiated in the last government. The Ministry of Mines and Energy had formally requested Petrobras to suspend the sale of assets for 90 days, due to the reassessment of the National Energy Policy, which is in progress and the establishment of a new composition of the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) . “Processes in which no contracts have been signed will continue to be analyzed”, informed the company to the Board of Directors.
