Boosting the professional training of Bolsa Família beneficiaries and those in the Single Registry and encouraging entrepreneurship to create more job and income opportunities are goals of the program’s current management. The Minister of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger, Wellington Dias, said that the government wants Brazil to be a country of opportunities for those who live in vulnerable situations. “We want to go further, guarantee not only social protection, but also a safe path for people to grow up”, said Wellington Dias in an interview with the Brasil em Pauta program, which will air this Sunday (16), at 22:30, on TV Brasil . In professional qualification, the minister explained that there is an inter-ministerial effort to build a training proposal similar to what was the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (Pronatec), and which covers training for work and for entrepreneurship. “If we have an audience here that wants an opportunity, how about the whole of Brazil turning to the Cadastro Único when making a hiring decision”, he said. He mentioned that this would apply to the federal government, states, municipalities and the private sector. “The private sector will work in civil construction, it needs bricklayers, electricians. And if we look at the Cadastro Único, we qualify people from there already according to the standards of the company they are going to hire. The state, the municipality, needs cleaning people drivers. And if we qualify from the Cadastro Único ”, he exemplified. Minister Wellington Dias said that he has already had conversations with the civil construction sector that can employ members of social programs in the resumption of works that are paralyzed in the country and total around 14 thousand, according to the federal government. “I have already held a dialogue here with all areas of government, the civil construction sector, and more investments also in public-private partnerships, more investments from states and municipalities so that there, where there is a construction site, we also have a training condition, theoretical and practical training”, he said. According to him, this path can also be followed in the trade sector, in industry, in the area of tourism, energy, oil and gas and others that have qualification conditions for employment and entrepreneurship. The minister reported that one of the main difficulties faced by entrepreneurs is not having guarantees to offer to take out a loan. Wellington Dias said that, in order to support entrepreneurship among people in vulnerable situations, the provision of a guarantee fund for investment and social consultants to organize the project and guide its implementation is under discussion. “President Lula’s vision is that, when Bolsa Família returns, when Brazil returns, we can be a country of opportunities”, said Wellington Dias.
