This Saturday morning (22), according to Portugal time, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was received by the Portuguese President, Marcelo Rabelo, with military honors, at Praça do Império, in Lisbon. Then he participated in the ceremony of laying flowers on the tomb of Luís de Camões, in the Jerónimos Monastery. Lula arrived in Portugal this Friday (21st), where he signs 13 agreements, and then heads to Spain, a country with which another four agreements will be signed. In the afternoon, Lula will be received by the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa, on the occasion of the XIII Luso-Brazilian Summit. The forecast is that the Summit will end at 20:00 local time. On Twitter, Lula spoke about his visit to Portugal. “It is always with great pleasure that I meet Portuguese friends. Today is special: my first state visit to Portugal in this third term. And I reciprocate the visit that President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa made to Brazil in our inauguration”.
