President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva confirmed his presence at an act with trade union centrals that takes place this Monday (1st), Labor Day, in São Paulo. The commitment was confirmed through Lula’s Twitter profile. “Our priority is to recover rights lost in recent years and improve the lives of the Brazilian people. And this very symbolic date will once again be a day of conquests.” On social media, he also highlighted the announcement, made yesterday (30), of readjustment of the minimum wage from R$1,302 to R$1,320 and the increase in the range of exemption from Income Tax, from the current R$1,903 for those earning up to BRL 2,640 per month. On Twitter, the measures were classified by the president as “employment appreciation”.
