The hearing will be in person and the former minister will be escorted from a battalion of the Military Police of the Federal District, where he is being held, to the PF premises. Anderson Torres has been in prison since January 14 due to investigations arising from another process, which investigates the coup acts that took place on the 8th of that month. At the time, Torres was away from the Security Secretariat of the Federal District. The inquiry at the STF investigates alleged omission by him and other authorities in containing the acts. According to the lawyers, he is experiencing bouts of anxiety, anguish, feeling short of breath, anguish, deep sadness, with intense and uninterrupted crying, in addition to suicidal thoughts.
