Public institutions of higher education (federal, state or municipal) can now join the second selection process of 2023 of the Unified Selection System (Sisu). The membership period began this Monday (22) and will end at 23:59 on Friday (26). If necessary, institutions can rectify the accession document between May 29th and June 9th. The adhesion of the educational institution is made by Sisu Gestão, the computerized system managed by the Ministry of Education. Through Sisu Gestão, participating institutions will offer vacancies in undergraduate courses, to be contested by candidates enrolled in each of the two annual editions of Sisu. In this second selection process of 2023, candidates will be selected according to the best classification in the 2022 edition of the National High School Examination (Enem). The procedures for joining and the complete schedule were published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU), on the 15th. under the Sisu. By signing the Term of Adhesion, federal institutions of higher education undertake to comply with the provisions of Law No. 12,711, of 2012, known as the Quota Law. And within the deadline for enrolling students in Sisu’s selection processes, yet to be defined by the MEC, these higher education institutions must provide free access to the internet, on the institution’s regular operating days and hours. Likewise, the participating institutions must also provide virtual access for forwarding the documentation required for the student’s registration, in the schedule that will be announced by the MEC. Through the notice, the institutions also undertake to disclose on the internet and in places with a large circulation of students, the specific conditions of competition for the vacancies offered in the selection program, at the time of adhesion.
