MJ extends employment of the National Force in Foz do Iguaçu

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJ) extended the use of the National Force in support of the Integrated Border Operations Center, with the objective of continuing to face transnational crimes and preserving public order in the region of Foz do Iguaçu (PR) . The ordinance was published in the Official Gazette this Friday (26). According to the ordinance, the use of the National Force will be on an episodic and planned basis, for a period of 90 days, in the period from May 25 to August 23, 2023, to act in “actions of the Judicial Police and Technical-Scientific Police , in the fight against transnational crimes and in the preservation of public order in the State of Paraná”. The ordinance adds that the contingent to be made available will follow a plan to be defined by the Directorate of the National Public Security Force, of the National Public Security Secretariat, of the MoJ.
