This Wednesday (31), the Federal Revenue Service releases the payment of the first batch of Income Tax (IR) refunds for 2023. The amounts are deposited in the taxpayer’s current account, indicated in the declaration. The lot includes 4.1 million taxpayers who are in the priority queue, such as seniors over 80, people with disabilities, teachers and those who made the pre-filled statement or chose to receive the refund through Pix. To check whether the refund is available, the taxpayer must access the Federal Revenue website on the Internet and click on the items “My Income Tax” and “Consult the Restitution”.
