Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), ordered this Wednesday (14) the blocking of the social networks of the digital influencer Bruno Monteiro Aiub, known as Monark. By decision, Monark is prohibited from publishing and sharing disinformation (fake news). The minister also set a fine of R$ 10,000 in case of non-compliance with the decision. In recent posts, he was accused by the minister of spreading “fraudulent news” about the elections. Social networks Discord, Instagram, Rumble and Twitter will have two hours to take down users’ access to Monark’s profiles on the internet. Companies must also send the influencer’s registration data to the Supreme Court and preserve the content of posts. Agência Brasil tries to contact Bruno Aiub.
