The death of the keyboardist of the band RPM, Luiz Schiavon, aged 64, was communicated this Thursday (15th), by his family, in São Paulo. According to information – published on social networks – the musician had been fighting an autoimmune disease for four years and had complications after surgery. “Luiz was, in his public image, conductor, composer, founder and keyboardist of RPM, but above all, a good son, nephew, husband, father and friend”, says the note. Farewell ceremonies will be reserved for family and close friends. Farewell “Say goodbye listening to his chords, paying homage on social media, magazines and newspapers, or simply remembering him fondly, the same affection he always had with all those who lived with him”, said Schiavon’s relatives. The keyboardist began studying music at the age of seven, in a training that lasted 14 years. With vocalist Paulo Ricardo, he made the first compositions of the band that would become RPM in 1985. After recording a single, they played a debut show at Teatro Bandeirantes, in São Paulo. The disclosure allowed the band to sell 300,000 copies with the first LP [long play].
