The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) opened this Monday (24) registration for the selection process for the temporary position of Census Research and Mapping Agent (ACMAP). 148 vacancies are available for the whole country, with the requirement of completing high school. The selection also includes the reservation of vacancies for self-declared black and brown candidates, as well as for people with disabilities. Applications close on the 13th of August. The updated announcement is available on the website of the National Institute of Selections and Contests (SELECON). To participate, it is necessary to pay a registration fee of R$ 30.00. Those approved will be remunerated with a salary of R$ 3.1 thousand, in addition to benefits such as food allowance in the amount of R$ 658.00, transportation allowance and pre-school aid. The contract will run for a period of up to one year and may be extended for a further two years. The weekly workload will be 40 hours, with 8 hours a day. The selection of candidates will be carried out through an objective test, with an eliminatory and classifying character, scheduled for September 24th. The final result of the selection process comes out on October 25th. The syllabus will cover disciplines such as Portuguese, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, Ethics in the Public Service and Geography. The selection process aims at hiring personnel to support activities after the Population Census.
