Images published on the internet show that both the Palácio do Planalto and the Federal Supreme Court (STF) had their headquarters invaded. Glasses and furniture were broken by Bolsonarist protesters who do not accept the election results. The delay or lack of reaction by the police forces could lead the STF to intervene in the Secretariat of Security of the Government of the Federal District, which has as its secretary the former Minister of Justice of the then Bolsonaro government, Anderson Torres. In view of the situation, the leader of the Lula Government in the National Congress, Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), said that, together with the PT presidency, he will enter representation at the Attorney General’s Office, “so that intervention in public security is decreed from the DF”. “We are now filing two requests to Minister Alexandre de Moraes: 1 – Extension of the inquiry into anti-democratic acts as of today’s events; 2 – Impediment of possession and, in case of possession, removal of Mr Anderson Torres, from the Secretariat of Justice of the DF,” Rodrigues tweeted. In a previous post, the leader said that “the terrorist demonstration in Brasilia was already foreseen and had the complacency and almost complicity of the governor of the DF @IbaneisOficial. Mr @IbaneisOficial will be held responsible”, said the senator. Other parliamentarians also asked for intervention in the DF government, who would be responsible for ensuring security at the Esplanada dos Ministérios. “It is immediately necessary to intervene federally in the DF. Governor Ibaneis has lost the conditions to remain in charge!”, posted Deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP).
